Since Lauren focused wishes towards her favorite charities, we've kicked off the fun year from 11/11/11 to 12/12/12 with projects and donations scheduled to make contributions Lauren's way. We hope to make a bakers dozen difference in the "happily ever after" of many deserving causes.
As you may already know, on 11/11/11, the Living Lauren's Legacy Foundation donated Lauren's opportunity to have a wish granted back to the Make-A-Wish foundation of Utah. This included also becoming a sponsor to finance the wish of another teen-age girl with a life-threatening condition.
In December, donations were made to a few needy families to help spread Christmas cheer and hope and peace.
For the MOO Years, we teamed up with four of Lauren's friends who had a school assignment of a service project who chose to collect blankets, books, toys, and cash to donate in Lauren's name to donate to PCMC. The Foundation supported their project and added some of it's own. Thanks to Jessica, Janie, Sarah, and Claire (L to R in the photo) and all those who contributed to the success of their project.
Lauren's 3 books are still available ... with the other 2 still coming. Technical difficulties have delayed it, but the intentions are still in the process.
